Judith Ann (LoCicero) Dallalis, known to her friends and family as Judy, age 66, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Daughter of the late Vincent LoCicero and the late Rita (Flaherty) LoCicero. Loving wife of her husband and soulmate Paul A. Dallalis of Braintree. Adored Goddaughter of Sheila (Flaherty) McLaughlin of East Bridgewater and cousin of Eileen McLaughlin of Middleboro, Patricia Bradford and her husband Wiliam of West Bridgewater, James McLaughlin of Mansfield, Michael McLaughlin and his wife Karen of East Bridgewater, Thomas McLaughlin and his wife Margaret “Meg” of Raynham, and Daniel McLaughlin and his wife Tammy of Middleboro. Judy also leaves behind numerous loved second cousins and several stepchildren and grandchildren from out of the area.
Judith was born was born at the former Quincy City Hospital on January 5, 1959 and raised primarily in Braintree. Judith graduated from Braintree High School, Class of 1977. Judith was a graduate of the Boston State School of Nursing, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Judith’s quest for knowledge was never satisfied. After nursing school, she earned her Juris Doctorate from the New England School of Law and passed the Massachusetts Bar. Judith also obtained her Real Estate License.
Judith worked for many years in various nursing positions with her most fulfilling role being at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on the Liver/Kidney Transplant Team as a Case Manager. It would be at this very hospital that Judith would start a medical journey in late 2015 when she was treated for bi-lateral pulmonary embolisms (blood clots in both lungs) after knee replacement surgery. Judy spent a month on ECMO, the most extreme form of life support as part of this journey and then almost two hundred days in physical rehabilitation.
Judith was an avid pet rescuer; she saved both cats and dogs from certain death. Judith even traveled as far as New York to do so, to get her beloved Pit Bull, Molly. Judith had many hobbies and interests including being a creative crafter, scrapbooker, and doll maker. Judith enjoyed gardening in her raised gardens and picking peaches from her peach tree in the back yard. Judith had a huge interest in ancestry following her family tree across the state to find many family burial sites. Judith was a devout Roman Catholic and often gave adoration to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Memorial Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Friday, July 25, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Memorial Visitation prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Inurnment Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
