Keti (Adhami) Andrea, age 69, of Hanover, formerly of Dorchester, died suddenly, Monday, February 20, 2023 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, surrounded by her loving family.
Keti was born in Tirana, Albania, to the late Stilian and Anthi (Dindi) Adhami. Raised and educated there, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Tirana.
She immigrated to the United States in 2000, settling in Dorchester. She lived in Hanover for the past four years.
Keti was employed as a clerk in medical billing for Partners HealthCare in Quincy for fifteen years. She had previously worked in student services at the University of Tirana in Albania where she handled payroll.
Keti was an avid gardener. She was a talented cook and enjoyed hosting family and friends.
Most of all, she was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, actively supporting their many activities and accomplishments.
Beloved wife for forty-five years of Viron Andrea.
Devoted mother of Kliton “Tony” Andrea and his wife Olga, Norvi Andrea and her husband Ervin Prendi, all of Hanover, Fiona Andrea and her husband Carlos Joo of West Bridgewater.
Loving grandmother of Ariana, Nicholas, Martin, Maison, Matias, Marcus, and Myles.
Dear sister of Poliksen Adhami and Donika Thaka, both of Albania.
Keti is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Thursday, February 23, from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, February 24, at 10 a.m. Reverend Presbyter Paul Zuniga, Priest in Charge, Holy Trinity Albanian Orthodox Church, South Boston, will officiate. Interment to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
