Leo E. Hachey, age 65, of Broad Brook, Conn., formerly of Dorchester, died suddenly on Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Leo was born in Boston and was a graduate of the former Don Bosco Technical High School, Class of 1978. Leo proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Technical Sergeant for over sixteen years. Following his military service, Leo worked with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for over twenty-six years and was more recently the Port Director, Customs and Border Patrol, at the Bradley International Airport in Connecticut.

Beloved son of the late Joseph L. Hachey, Jr., Esq. and Claire M. (O’Connor) Hachey. Dear son of Mary B. (Fitzsimmons) Hachey of East Bridgewater. Devoted brother of Rev. Paul J. Hachey S.M. of Sydney, Australia, Edmund S. Hachey of Quincy, Joseph E. Hachey of Englewood, Colo., and Ellen M. Guilfoyle and her husband Thomas of East Bridgewater. Leo is also survived by a niece and nephew and their families.

At the request of the family, funeral services were private.
