Lisa B. (Belanger) Kane, age 40

Lisa B. (Belanger) Kane, age 40, of Rockland, died peacefully, Friday, May 20, 2022 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. She had endured a long battle against cancer.

Lisa was born in Rumford, Maine. Raised and educated there, she was a graduate of Mountain Valley High School, Class of 2000. Lisa earned her Bachelor’s degree from Bentley University, Class of 2004, and her Master in Business Administration from Boston University. She lived in Rockland for the past six years, previously in South Boston.

Lisa most recently worked as a finance manager for DXL Men’s Apparel for the past three years.

Lisa loved to travel, taking every opportunity to explore the world near and far, but loved nothing more than visiting her family’s camp at Garland Pond and spending time on the water.

Lisa enjoyed many nights on the town, Red Sox games, and gatherings with her friends whom she loved like family.

Lisa was a tireless advocate for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, dedicating her time and energy to help others in their fight while raising over $100,000 in support of their mission.

Lisa provided all who knew her with a constant reminder to never give up and to find ways to turn life’s challenges into positive experiences for those around you. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all, but her spirit and memory will live on in all those lives she touched.

Beloved wife for six years of Patrick S. Kane.

Devoted daughter of Glenn H. and Robin G. (White) Belanger of Rumford, Maine.

Loving sister of Adam Belanger and his fiancée Ashlinn Killeen of Portland, Maine.

Dear aunt of her two favorite people in the world, Guy and Huck Belanger, both of Portland, Maine.

Cherished daughter-in-law of Stephen F. and Dianne M. (Asselta) Kane and sister-in-law of Michael P. Kane, all of Marstons Mills.

Funeral arrangements will take place privately.
