Michael A. Tobin, age 35

Michael A. Tobin, age 35, a lifelong resident of North Weymouth, died suddenly, Monday, September 18, 2023 at home.

Michael was born in Boston, raised and educated in Weymouth. He was a graduate of Weymouth High School.

Michael was a devoted caregiver to his grandfather and assisted him for many years.

He was formerly part of the Gavin Foundation.

Michael was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed attending games at Fenway Park.

Beloved son of Leslie K. Tobin of Weymouth.

Devoted brother of Sarah Miller and Paige Miller, both of Weymouth.

Dear uncle of Grace and Natalie.

Loving grandson of Robert A. Tobin of Weymouth and the late Charlotte R. “Becky”(Johnson) Tobin.

Michael is also survived by his daughter, Kynslee, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Friday, September 22, from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy, on Saturday, September 23, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

  • There are so many memories that im thinking of as I write this. When I think about my childhood, there is no way that your name does not come up. So many memories with you and your family growing up in Randolph as my neighbors. I can’t believe you are no longer here and I wish I could of seen you in person when we connected a few years ago.   • Leslie as a mom and having do deal with my recent losses, I can honestly say that I know how your much your heart hurts, I also know how much love you have to give, and you’re children always came first I know I always say it but you’re stronger than you think. I know you were so proud of Michael being on the right path and taking care of your Dad while doing all of this you raised strong children and they will pass that on. I love you so very much I will be with you always if not physically in my heart, Michael is home with his heavenly Father and will never hurt again, He Loves you and always will that’s something that will never die your love for each other .
