Michael G. Do, age 55, of Weymouth, died peacefully, Thursday, November 24, 2022, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Michael was born in Kien Thong, Vietnam, to the late Thang T. Hoang and Mien D. Do. Raised and educated there, he immigrated to the United States in 1989. He lived in Weymouth for five years, previously in Quincy for twenty years, and earlier in East Boston for a short time.

He was employed as an attendant in the laundromat and dry-cleaning business for many years.

Michael’s greatest joy came from family and being a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.

Beloved husband for sixteen years of Dong T. Vo.

Devoted father of Jennifer H. Tran and her husband Quang Chu of Dracut.

Loving grandfather of Thomas.

Michael is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Sunday, November 27, from 2 – 5 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
