Michael R. Salmons, age 38, of West Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of Quincy, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, August 28, 2026.

Michael was born, raised, and educated in Quincy. He was a graduate of North Quincy High School.

He had lived in West Palm Beach, Florida for the past five years, after spending most of his life in Quincy.

Michael was employed as a medical billing specialist.

He was an active member of Christ Fellowship Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where his faith was an important part of his life.

Michael had a passion for motorcycles. He enjoyed caring for his yard and tinkering around his home. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his children. Michael was kind-hearted, loving, and devoted to those he loved, and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Devoted father of Marie F. Salmons and Michael D. Salmons.

Loving son of Robert T. Salmons, Sr. and his wife Tina of Quincy, and the late Denise M. (Farrell) Duncanson.

Dear brother of Timothy P. Salmons of Dorchester, Robert T. Salmons, Jr. and his wife Kelley of New Jersey, Jeremy Duncanson, and Madeline Duncanson, both of Florida.

Michael is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Sunday, September 6, from 2 – 5 p.m. A Prayer Service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
