  • Millie was that person who always went the “ Extra Mile “ in all endeavors. We met years ago when I taught her sons Joe and Brendan at Mass.Fields School and again at the Parker School where she worked as Secretary. She always was ready to help and whatever the job, you knew that it would be A +. Last year Millie was honored by the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies for being a Marine veteran. She received a Certificate and special coin with friends and family present. Rest In Peace dear friend, Gail

  • I have known Millie for many years. We first met at the Parker School where I taught Kindergarten. She was the very best Secretary ever! We shared a lot of wonderful experiences and memories. I was fortunate enough to have taught some of her Grandchildren as well. We also socialized a great deal then and enjoyed numerous visits with others to the Cape. We shared a deep connection, as I was also a “Southie Girl”! She will be remembered as a strong and vital woman, as well as a dedicated and devoted friend. Rest in Peace Millie

  • Our prayers are with the family. God bless.

  • Millie and I made so many happy memories together; forever friends, mothers and wives; only one of us forever a marine. Our kids grew up together, and our homes remained close by one another as we each moved from Wollaston to Quincy Center. Our girls trips to NYC were wonderful.

  • We offer our deepest condolences to the Cox family. We will remember Aunt Millie with love and pride for the rest of our lives. May she rest in peace.

  • Our family was blessed to meet Cousin Millie in 1985, when she reached out to us with the wonderful news that we were related. Soon after, Millie invited us to the christening of one of her grandchildren. It was there that we first met this remarkable woman, surrounded by her beautiful family, and immediately marveled at her warmth, grace, and presence.
Forty years later, we had the privilege of seeing her again, together with her dear son Michael, the day after her 101st birthday. Millie was physically strong, and her mind remained crystal clear. She was a role model for all of us — through her service to her country, her deep love for her family, and her tireless dedication to finding her long-lost relatives. Her strength and persistence will remain an inspiration to future generations.
Our heartfelt condolences to the Cox family. Rest in peace, Cousin Millie.
