Patricia A. Butler, age 83

Patricia A. (Hutchinson) Butler, age 83, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Monday, December 23, 2024 at Queen Anne Nursing Home in Hingham, in the comfort of her loving family.

Patricia was born in Boston, to the late Arthur and Viola (Brown) Hutchinson. Raised in Mattapan, she was a graduate of Dorchester High School. She lived in East Bridgewater for eighteen years, previously in Quincy for forty-two years.

Pat was employed as a secretary in special education for the Quincy Public Schools for ten years and had been retired for many years.

She loved decorating and was devoted to her family.

Beloved wife for fifty-nine years of John J. Butler.

Devoted mother of Christopher J. Butler of Norton and the late baby Tracey Butler.

Memorial Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Wednesday, January 1, at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Memorial Visitation prior to the service from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
