Patricia A. Cosseboom, age 79

Patricia Ann Cosseboom, age 79, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 2, 2026 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia, known to all as Pat, was born in Lynn on March 15, 1946 to the late Jeremiah and Martha Nolan. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1963, and earned her Associate’s degree from Burdett College in 1965.

In 1968 Pat married the love of her life, James (Jim) Cosseboom. Together they built a life in Quincy with their 4 children. They lived in Quincy for 39 years before moving to White Pines in East Bridgewater.

Pat worked in the St. Ann Parish Rectory in Quincy for twenty-five years. During that time, she also traveled extensively with her group of friends, affectionately known as “The Grandmothers.” Her adventures took her all throughout Europe and not surprisingly her favorite country to visit was Ireland.

Above all else, Pat was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, actively supporting their many activities and accomplishments.

Pat was predeceased by her husband Jim and is survived by her children James Cosseboom, Jr. and his wife Meredith of Plymouth, Thomas Cosseboom and his wife Kari of Wall, NJ, Michael Cosseboom and his wife Tiffany of Wildwood, FL and Meaghan Cosseboom. She will be greatly missed by her 5 grandchildren Timothy, Sara, Brian, Shane, and Kallie. Pat also leaves behind her dear friend of 50+ years, Dolores Golden, of Quincy.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Divine Mercy Parish at Saint Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy, on Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
