Patricia A. Lehane, age 90

Patricia A. (Divers) Lehane, age 90, of Braintree, died peacefully, Thursday, May 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness.

Patricia was born in Taunton, to the late Margaret (Mitchell) and James P. Divers. She was raised and educated in South Boston and graduated from the former Saint Augustine’s High School, Class of 1952. She lived in Braintree for fifty-five years, previously in Dorchester for ten years.

She was a bindery worker at the former Alpine Press in Braintree and later Stoughton for twenty years.

Patricia enjoyed reading and crocheting. She also enjoyed lunch dates with her sister. Patricia was an avid Boston sports fan.

Patricia was a devoted member of Saint Joseph’s Church in Quincy.

Most of all, Patricia was a homemaker who was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, actively supporting their many activities and accomplishments.

Beloved wife of the late Lawrence D. Lehane.

Devoted mother of James L. Lehane and his wife Wendy of Southlake, Texas, Kevin M. Lehane and his wife Michelle of Rehoboth, Laura J. Ronaghan of Braintree, and Daniel J. Lehane of Warren, R.I.

Loving grandmother of Gregory, Connor, and Jacqui Lehane; Michael and Ryan Lehane; Heather Bossart, Danielle Ronaghan, and Jennifer Larkin; Adrianna Lehane.

Cherished great grandmother of seven.

Dear sister of Marguerite Buckley of Braintree and predeceased by Rosemary Reiser and Agnes Brady.

Patricia is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Monday, May 12, from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Joseph’s Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy, on Tuesday, May 13, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
