  • Pat Cardarelli was my hero. In 1990 Pat was on the negotiating team for the nurses at Boston City Hospital. As chief negotiator we were fortunate to have such a well respected and strong negotiator for the nurses as Pat.
We became friends during bargaining and along with fellow negotiator Lisa Nystrom we remained friends for 34 years. We visited each other across the country for many years, with tasty dinners and a lot of laughs. Pat will always be in my heart, with a smile.
