Paul A. Burke, age 74, a lifelong resident of Quincy, died peacefully, Friday, September 29, 2023 at Royal Norwell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in the comfort of his loving family.

Paul was born in Boston, raised and educated in the Wollaston section of Quincy. He was a graduate of North Quincy High School, Class of 1967. He earned an Associate’s degree from Quincy College in 1969.

Paul was employed as a taxi driver for Yellow Cab of Quincy, and had been retired for many years.

Paul was a creative and artistic person with a passion for painting and woodworking. He also enjoyed playing chess.

He was a devout Catholic with a special devotion to the Rosary.

Beloved son of the late Kathryn M. and Stephen J. Burke.

Devoted brother of Mary Jane Burke Robinson and her husband Francis X. Collins, and the late Edward J. Burke.

At the request of the family, graveside services were conducted privately at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
