Pauline A. Delorey, age 90

Pauline A. (Dubois) Delorey, age 90, a lifelong resident of Quincy, died peacefully, Saturday, December 7, 2024 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.

Pauline was born in Lawrence, to the late Bertha A. (Page) and Edward J. Dubois. Raised and educated in Quincy, she graduated from the former Saint Joseph Elementary School.

She worked as an assembler at the Raytheon Company in Quincy for over twenty-five years.

Pauline was an active member of Saint Joseph Church in Quincy. She belonged to the Ladies Sodality, sang in the choir, and also served as a Girl Scout Leader.

She enjoyed crocheting. Pauline was also an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.

Beloved wife of the late Richard J. “Dick” Delorey.

Devoted mother of Steven J. Delorey and his wife Lisa of Gansevoort, N.Y.

One of eight siblings, Pauline was the dear sister of Marie Graziano and her husband Frank of Sandwich. She was predeceased by Edward Dubois, Jr., Raymond Dubois, Irene Goguen, Cecile Goguen, Frederick Dubois, and George Dubois.

Pauline is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Thursday, December 12, from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Joseph Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy, on Friday, December 13, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.

Due to floral restrictions at the cemetery, in lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org.
