Robert M. Pasquale, age 78

Robert M. Pasquale, age 78, a longtime resident of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, passed away, peacefully, Sunday, December 15, 2024 at AccentCare Inpatient Hospice Center in Milton, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born in Boston, to the late Americo and Florence (Batts) Pasquale. Raised and educated in Dorchester, he was a graduate of Dorchester High School, Class of 1964, and later attended Bentley College. He lived in Quincy for sixty years.

He proudly served in the medical corps with the United States Army Reserve in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Bob was employed as a retail executive for many years. He began his career at the age of sixteen working at Filene’s Basement, later with the former Filene’s, and then with the Jordan Marsh Company.

He loved to travel and enjoyed reading.

Bob was a man of faith and put God first in his life. He attended Saint Anthony’s Shrine in Boston for many years and served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Bob also volunteered with the food pantry and liked visiting less fortunate seniors. He was also a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in North Quincy.

He was a most generous person and his main purpose in life was to help others. He especially loved his family, all children, and dogs.

Beloved husband for forty-eight years of Kristin M. Koskella Pasquale.

Loving brother of Jean F. Donohue and her husband James of Holbrook, Florence M. LaMontagne and her husband James of Quincy, and the late Clement Pasquale and his late wife Sandra.

Bob is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, friends, and their families.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Thursday, December 19, from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Parish in Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock Street, North Quincy, on Friday, December 20, at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

  • Bob was very sweet and kind man. He was always smiling and quick with the jokes. He was a wonderful husband and friend and brought so much joy to everyone he met. He now at peace and is with God and is now an angel watching over everyone in his life. Everything time I see the sunshine I will know that he’s smiling and sending a hello.
