Theodore C. “Teddy” Balducci, age 79, a lifelong resident of Quincy, died peacefully, Monday, August 3, 2026 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of Quincy Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1965, where he excelled on the varsity football team. He was proudly inducted into the Quincy High School Football Hall of Fame in 2017.

Teddy was employed for many years with Local 17, as a sheet metal worker. Previously, he began his career working at the former Fore River Shipyard as a welder with the former Bethlehem Steel Company for twenty years.

He was an avid Boston sports fan, especially rooting for the Boston Red Sox.

Teddy was an accomplished gardener with a talent for growing flowers and vegetables. He also enjoyed travelling and trips to the casinos with family and friends.

He had a special fondness for his late pet shelter dog, KC.

Beloved son of the late John and Helen E. (Conroy) Balducci.

He was predeceased by his siblings Kenneth A. Balducci, Noel J. Balducci, Q.F.D., Retired, and Judith M. Balducci.

Teddy was also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

At the request of the family, arrangements were private.
