Victoria T. (Moses) Nord, age 93, a lifelong Quincy resident, died peacefully, Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

Vicky was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Budamus) Moses of Quincy. She graduated from Quincy High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Emmanuel College.

She began her career as an elementary school teacher for the Quincy Public Schools. She then left to raise her young family. Vicky then went back to work for the Archdiocese of Boston in the Catholic Youth Center. Her role was focused on youth outreach, which she did for over twenty years.

Vicky was an active member at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Quincy where she served on the Parish Council, as a CCD teacher, and as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.

Beloved wife of the late Richard F. Nord.

Devoted mother of Richard T. Nord of Quincy, Robert L. Nord of Pennsylvania, Randall F. Nord of Texas, Russell J. Nord of E. Wareham, and Eric P. Nord of Quincy.

Loving grandmother of Christopher and Victoria.

Dear sister of Sonya Shaw of Braintree, Mary DiPietro of Watertown, and the late Sidney Moses.

Memorial Visiting Hours will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, East Milton, on Tuesday, August 27, from 5 – 7 p.m. A Memorial Service immediately following at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
